Albany Excursion: Proposed Itinerary
Friday 31 October Leave Collie at 10.00 in hired bus, Ed Croft as driver
A. Blackmore in car with trailer to follow behind.
Route as outlined.
Students bring packed lunch and we stop along the way to eat.
Arrive at Albany SHS 15.30, set up sleeping arrangements.
Walk to town and have dinner in town.
View the Ceremonial sunset at 18.30 followed by fireworks
Return to ASHS on foot.
Supper and Study hour from 20.00 to 21.00
21.30 Bedtime.
Saturday 1 November Breakfast at 07.00 in ASHS
Walk to town in Uniform, collect wreath.
Troop March in York street 09.00 to 10.00
Commemorative Service from 11.00 to 11.40
Official Opening of ANZAC centre at 13.00
Walk back to ASHS for lunch and freshen up.
Afternoon study time 15.00 to 16.00
Free time afterwards to get ready for the evening
Walk to Centennial Park for Community concert 18.30
Dinner in Albany town venue TBA
Walk back to ASHS
22.00 Bedtime
Sunday 2 November Breakfast at 08.30 in ASHS
Pack up all gear in the bus and clean venue
Return to ASHS for snack and leave at 12.00
Stop for lunch on the route home.
Return to Collie approx. 17.00.
Packed lunch on the way.
ASHS 3 - 3.30pm set up
Sleeping in the gym. Will just need sleeping bags and pillows and toiletries etc.
